A few salient points from the video:
- Our skin benefits the most from natural plant oils that mimic skin's own sebum. Jojoba, sweet almond, avocado, hemp... there are soooo many plant oils available, it's a matter of trying a few and seeing which works best for your skin type.
- Absolutely steer clear of conventional moisturising creams and balms - these contain petroleum-derived ingredients that dry out your skin and effectively lock you into a cycle of product use.
- We don't need to be spending hundreds of dollars a year on beauty products. The kind of ingredients that are best for your skin are also ingredients you can eat and probably have in your pantry or fridge already.
